Job Fair
As every year, SOFIA and ELSA Antwerp are joining forces to set up the Antwerp Law Jobdays. This year the event will take place on November 17th. By means of the Antwerp Law Jobdays we try to give students a taste of how the professional world works. The lawyers-to-be are given the opportunity to inform themselves about the different paths they can take after completing their education. This way, they get the opportunity to have a one-on-one conversation with the companies they dream of working at one day. With the help of a well thought-out CV, the student tries to make a good first impression on the company where he/she has an internship or even a job in mind.
However, this edition will not occur like all other years. Covid-19 has forced us to be creative. For example, the event will not take place physically, but via an online platform. After the hard work of our team, we have managed to create a virtual world that almost seamlessly resembles the real world.
What will it look like? Using our site (http://www.antwerplawjobdays.be/),with one click you will be referred to a personalized link for each company, to the Blackboard Collaborate platform. Within Blackboard Collaborate, each organization has its own "room" in which a first word of explanation is given by the company itself. From this "room", a representative of the corporation repeatedly invite a student to a separate room to have a personal conversation. It is a great advantage for the companies to have a look at the student's CV beforehand. This will allow the conversation to run more efficiently. The student can already submit their CV during registration. The representatives of the Jobdays will deliver it to the right offices.
When the conversation at the Job Fair went well, the students are welcomed to the Campus Interviews.
Campus Interviews
After an initial introduction at the Job Fair, the Campus Interviews offer another platform for personal contact between the office and students. The Campus interviews are organized with two aspects in mind. First for final year students. This with the aim of a job within the legal world. Secondly, students from the first master and the third bachelor are given the opportunity to apply for a summer internship.

Each student must send us their CV in advance, so that we can deliver it to the desired company on time. You can register at a maximum of 5 companies. After your registration you will receive a message from us. We'll let you know which office to talk to and when they will take place. An average conversation time of 15 minutes is calculated per interview. These interviews will also take place online in the same format as the Jobdays.
The due date for registration and resume submission will be online later.
